Hi! I'm so glad you're here. I started Van Gompel Education to help teachers take actionable steps toward building careers they enjoy. After years of mentoring educators and hearing the same frustration—“I’m ready for more, but I don’t know where to start”—I knew there needed to be a better path. Elevate your practice™ is about giving teachers real, practical support to explore what’s next, whether that means deepening their classroom practice or branching into something new.

I’ve spent over 20 years in education, teaching everything from preschool to graduate school. Along the way, I’ve worked in curriculum, professional learning, instructional design, educational technology, corporate training, customer success, and more. Today, I teach in an education graduate program at a local university and continue to support educators as they build careers that feel aligned, purposeful, and sustainable.
